Micro Collection: Spot Paintings

A micro collection made slowly, dot by dot. Hours of methodical mark-making across huge, large-format paper. Repetitive, steady, almost meditative, but each one landing with its own energy.

These pieces pull from my earlier Spot projects, but also back to something even older: childhood doodles, the first marks you make without overthinking. The instinctive, playful repetition that sits at the root of my practice. A simple gesture, stretched across big paper, scaled up and rebuilt.

Look closely and each work shifts — some scatter, some cluster, some tighten into their own pulse. Tiny decisions made thousands of times until the surface starts to hum. An extension of the ongoing Spot language.

A return to restraint. Play, made deliberate.
Loose Ends 350, 351, 352 shown.
