Looser Loose Ends

For the last few months I’ve been pulling my own language apart and piecing it back together — collage, mixed media, hand-torn and reassembled works on paper (570 x 760mm), with some failures and successes in-between.

These are one-off works I’ve been living with, letting them shift and settle over time. They feel closer to how I first made art: nostalgic of old sketchbooks, where everything was freer, rougher, less planned. Fragments of shape, left-overs, materials re-used and rebuilt. Each piece is a memory, reconstructed in colour — looser, but still with intent. They feel more raw, more personal, maybe a little feral but really special. They’ll soon join my main on-request PDF catalogue, and will be available to purchase.
